Moxibustion is the application of heat to a specific area or point on the body. Along with acupuncture needles, moxibustion has become an integral part of the Oriental system of medicine. The term 'moxibustion' is derived from the Japanese 'Moe Kusa', meaning 'burning herb'. Moxa is obtained from the herbal plant 'Arternisia Vulgaris', also commonly called mugwort. Function:

Attention:

 

1, Light the moxa,then put the burning end into moxibustion.

 

2, Press the moxa roll down to the top of the moxibustion. Then you should adjust the distance to keep the temperature.

 

3, After testing the temperature then you can start moxibustion.

 

4, Usually it need 5 to 10 minutes, it will make the skin smooth and rosy.

 

 

 

1. Do not use moxa on the face, soft skin, or other sensitive body areas.

2. Do not use moxa on infants or young children.

3. Do not use moxa on patients who are not able to detect the sensations of heat or pain
